Alejandro Pérez
Colombian-Norwegian photographer and visual artist, explores memory, the body, and the tensions between nature, technology, and society. His practice lies at the intersection of artistic photography, installation, and visual research, with a perspective shaped by his migratory experience and a critical observation of contemporary systems of production, consumption, and representation.
Born in Colombia and based in Norway for decades, Pérez develops a visual language that engages with hybrid cultural landscapes: Latin American memory, Nordic aesthetics, and the global conflicts of late modernity. His images and projects address themes such as identity in transit, political ecology, the human-animal relationship, and the impact of industry on the body and the land.
