What I was observing at that moment was ironic. A latte made with "lactose-free" milk; I inadvertently stirred the design the barista had drawn, like when the wind scatters a sand mandala, and there, magically, appeared the Milky Way.

A self-taught photographer. With other members of the Pateperros group, he has conducted workshops, primarily on film photography. He has exhibited his documentary work in Colombia, Spain, Argentina, and Brazil. He comes from the old school of black and white photography and still shoots with film; he combines digital processes using vintage analog equipment and playfully demonstrates the fundamentals of photography.
